Job Description:
My role is extremely diverse, involving sales, purchasing, bookkeeping, and logistics, and I liaise with a variety of people, clients, event managers, staff at other yards, franchisees, etc. I like a mental challenge, so the logistics side is massively enjoyable for me. There are lots of variables that can change at short notice, and substantial financial and operational considerations. It’s very much putting a puzzle together, but with real implications, so it can be very satisfying.
Hobbies/What You Enjoy Doing Outside of Work:
I love a quiet life outside of work and am lucky enough to live in a great small town. It’s quiet, surrounded by countryside, and there’s plenty of lovely walks to take, with or without my mad beagle cross dog. I also spend time gardening, reading, relaxing with friends and family, and enjoying great food. I also love a big gardening or DIY project, as well.
What You Enjoy About Working at Nomadic Washrooms:
There’s really not much to dislike! Stu and Kate are lovely people to work for who really care about their staff and the way they do business. The role is super flexible so I work from home a few days a week too, which is great. However, being in the office is also great fun, for the collaboration and the banter! As well as seeing Kate and Stu’s dog/company mascot, Oaka, the border terrier puppy. We have a super motivated team, have a good laugh and generally, it’s a very positive working environment.
