We are excited to announce a new chapter in our online presence with a brand new Nomadic Washrooms website! Like most businesses, lockdowns have enforced a slightly quieter period for us, so we looked at what we could do to help keep building the Nomadic brand. Now, we have a shiny new website which is much more informative and user-friendly to anyone looking to hire luxury toilets and washrooms for events.

Why did we want a new website?

Like with everything at Nomadic Washrooms, we try and keep it as local as possible and although our previous website was functional, we felt it didn’t really reflect us and our company ethos. So we got in touch with a local digital marketing agency called Digidol (read about why we chose Digidol here) and here is the end result.

Another reason that we wanted a new website is that we felt that our old website didn’t truly reflect our brand and it seemed a bit generic as it was built using a template. Our goal was to have a website that reflected our luxury shepherd hut washrooms by being elegant yet welcoming. We think the new site has really done that and really captures our amazing shepherd hut washrooms.

The final reason that we decided it was time for a new website were issues with mobile optimisation and knowing our limits. Our old website was built by us, and although we gave it a good go (and surprised ourselves in the process), it was time to leave the work to the professionals. By outsourcing our digital marketing, we can now focus our time on growing other parts of the Nomadic brand; and most importantly, spending free time together.

What’s next for Nomadic Washrooms?

Behind the scenes, we have been working hard to keep the momentum going at Nomadic Washrooms and to keep our amazing venture growing. The new website is just our first bit of exciting news to start 2021, with the arrival of The Accessible Shepherd in Spring to be announced soon. This will be our first disability-friendly luxury washroom for event hire and will be available across the United Kingdom from Spring 2021.

In addition, we have been busy rearranging all missed bookings for 2020 and 2021 with extra bookings already being taken for 2022 (and even 2023), so we have a lot of exciting road trips planned with our flock.

We also have a few other currently secret projects in the pipeline. So if you are interested in finding out what they are, make sure you are following us on Facebook and Instagram!

Why did we choose Digidol to build our new website?

As we previously mentioned, we like to keep everything as local as possible at Nomadic Washrooms. So we got in touch with several different local digital marketing agencies to see what was out there and who was offering what. We had a few standard email responses and then we got a response from Chris at Digidol.

Digidol offers a free 1-hour consultation in which Chris researched our complete digital presence and summarised it in an easy to read professional document. He followed it up by organising a video call with us to talk everything through, and from that point, we knew Digidol was the choice for us.

Once we gave him the go-ahead, Chris provided us with a detailed plan of the website build, followed by regular updates on progress. We felt he understood the Nomadic Washrooms brand so we gave him free rein on design and he did not disappoint.

We now have an amazing new website which is much better optimised for search engine optimisation and we are looking forward to continuing working with Chris to help our digital presence go from strength to strength.
